It's been an unbelievable year for one South Dakota singer. Rapid City native Rowan Grace took the world by storm during this season of NBC's The Voice. She even gained some new friends from the show.

Believe it or not, Rowan's journey on NBC's The Voice started way before this year. She first auditioned for the singing competition when she was only 13 years old. Even at a young age, Rowan Grace was determined to make her dreams come true.

What's new with Rowan since being on national television? After making the Top 10 and being eliminated on NBC's The Voice, Rowan Grace made her return back to South Dakota and school. Rowan says life for her hasn't really changed, except for the fact that she has fans now and a new buddy in Blake Shelton.

It was clear that Rowan and Blake had a special bond throughout her time on the show. Rowan is Blake's "little buddy." Rowan actually credits Blake and his wife Gwen Stefani (Rowan's first coach on The Voice) for believing in her abilities. She had so much confidence throughout the competition because of this power couple.

We haven't heard the last from this South Dakota superstar. Who knows? Maybe she will be on stage with Blake when he takes over the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on Friday, February 17th...to be continued!
