Who doesn't love a chilly treat from the local Sioux Falls area B&G Milkyway?! Now South Dakota ice cream fans can taste new creations from the iconic establishment until the Labor Day holiday!

For the second time, all ten B&G Milkyway locations across the Sioux Falls area will compete in the friendly "Avalanche Battle," including the new Mitchell B&G Milkyway shop! This is the sweetest competition in town.

What is a B&G Milkyway Avalanche?

Any long-time Sioux Falls resident knows how delicious every B&G Milkyway Avalanche is. But if you're new to the area, this is a great competition to try the local hotspot and its classic ice cream specialty.

An Avalanche is mixed with ice cream and treats in one glorious creation. Some popular flavors include the Brownie Batter (my favorite), Cookie Dough, Strawberry Cheesecake, Turtle, and Caramel Apple Pie.

All B&G Milkyway locations created different Avalanche desserts for Sioux Empire ice cream fans to try. The "Avalanche Battle" takes place now until Monday, September 1st. There's no better way to celebrate the end of summer than with a yummy Avalanche treat?!
