I am a native South Dakotan and have spent a lot of time on family farms before moving to the Mitchell area in middle school. I got started with my first radio job after my sophomore year when my mom said that I couldn’t sleep till noon every day during the summer and needed to do something. She told me that the local radio station, KORN, was looking for someone to read weekend news. I got the job and the rest is history. When I began college at Augustana University, I continued with local Sioux Falls radio stations and over the years have been on-air in just about every shift and job. I absolutely love what I do and sharing my eclectic perspective with you. When I’m not chatting it up on-air, I am spending time with my wife and two kids and two young grandsons. I love to travel and have a passion for music as part of a local cover band, SHAYDZ, and also part of the worship team at Embrace Church. Thanks for inviting our radio station in to your life. I’m grateful for that honor every day!
