Ag Marketing Expert to Visit 6 South Dakota Cities
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — An agriculture marketing specialist from Iowa State University will speak in six South Dakota cities to offer insight into the low corn prices.
Steve Johnson will be the featured speaker at GrowingOn 2014 sponsored by the South Dakota Corn Growers Association, Farm Credit Services of America and Risk Management Agency.
Johnson's presentation will cover the potential impacts of large U.S. and global crop supplies, uncertain economies and the new farm program.
The seminars are Dec. 3 in Aberdeen and Watertown, Dec. 4 in Huron, Dec. 5 in Yankton and Mitchell, and Dec. 10 in Sioux Falls.
Farm Credit Services of America specialists will also be on hand to discuss crop insurance options and how to minimize risk.
