70-Year-Old Menno Man Dies in Weekend Tractor Mishap
MENNO, S.D. (AP) — A Menno man died when he was crushed under his tractor.
Authorities say 70-year-old Roger Mensch was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday afternoon after his Farmall tractor rolled on an incline while he was loading trimmed branches into a pile. His girlfriend discovered his body.
Hutchinson County Coroner Roger Simonsen says Mensch's older-model tractor did not have a roll bar.
