If you haven't made it down to see the Winter Wonderland at Falls Park here in Sioux Falls, you don't have much time left! Falls Park was converted into this dazzling display of holiday cheer on November 22 and all ends this Sunday, January 5.

The Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation Department again put together this year's display featuring more than a mile of garland, 40 wreaths, 276 decorated trees, 215 decorated light poles, over 23 miles of strings of light and numerous animated lighted features.

According to VisitSiouxFalls.com, The Falls of the Big Sioux River has been a focus of life in the region throughout history. Native American peoples were the first to visit the falls and bring stories of them to European explorers. They have been the center of recreation and industry since the founding of the city in 1856.
