LeAnn Rimes is suing two women she claims illegally recorded a phone call with her and posted it online. The lawsuit says the call was edited out-of-context and has harmed her reputation, personal relationships, and caused her emotional distress. Rimes wants more than $25,000 in damages from California teacher Kimberly Smiley and her adult daughter. Smiley calls the whole thing "ridiculous" and chalks it up to "a celebrity who's too full of herself." It's illegal in California for someone to record a phone call without the other person's knowledge.
