Cracking Down on Impaired Drivers

Sioux Falls, S.D.  (AP)  South Dakota Highway Patrol troopers are out in full force as the Labor Day holiday weekend arrives.

The agency is conducting a 'saturation patrol' involving nearly all officers to encourage safe driving.  It's the end of a summer-long campaign aimed at cracking down on drunken driving, speeding and seat belt violations.
