You Can Help Sioux Falls Scheels Donate $50K To Local Non-Profits

The holidays are meant for spending time with families and loved ones. It's also an opportunity to reflect on the blessings you have received in your life, and even give back to those in need across the Sioux Empire.

One sporting goods store in Sioux Falls wants to give back this holiday season. This store recognizes many great local non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire. That's why they need your help deciding where its generous donations should go!

Scheels in Sioux Falls is looking to donate $50,000 to local non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire! This is all part of the Scheels Sioux Falls 2024 Day of Giving campaign. In a Facebook post, officials with Sioux Falls Scheels explain that they need your nominations to know where the money should go!

The $50,000 donation will be split in multiple ways. This year, ten Sioux Empire non-profit nominations will receive $5,000! There is one catch: Scheels Sioux Falls 2024 Day of Giving will donate to nominees who have not won this generous gift from Sioux Falls Sheels.

There is still time to nominate your favorite non-profit organizations in the Sioux Empire! You can do it right now! The last day to vote will be on Sunday, December 1st at midnight.

The Scheels Sioux Falls 2024 Day of Giving campaign application to nominate your favorite non-profit organization can be found here. Votes are limited to one per person and take less than five minutes to fill out.

13 Times Sioux Falls Made it into a 'Jeopardy!' Question

If the world was divided into Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune people, I would be down for Jeopardy! all the way. It's a lot more fun, it makes me feel smart because I can retain lots of trivia, and I am a horrible speller. So Wheel is out, no whammies.

Recently I discovered (I mean wasted a lot of time on) a website that is an archive of clues that have been on Jeopardy!.

While digging around the archive, I wanted to find out how often Sioux Falls came up in a question (Answer) on the show. Since 1990 Sioux Falls has been part of a question or an answer 13 times.
