Christmas came early for a South Dakota family searching for their furry friend.

Thanks to the efforts of the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and through their partnership with Petco, a family has been reunited with their beloved family cat. Oh, happy days!

This heartwarming reunion is the "purr-fect" story to warm South Dakota's heart this holiday season.

Petco has a nationwide program called Petco Love Lost, which is part of the mission to reunite lost pets with their families. Petco Love Lost is an app that makes it easy for families to search for their lost furry friend. The app "includes pets reported by individuals as well as thousands of shelter partners across the country. By uploading a photo of your lost or found pet and reporting it in our system, you make that pet visible to pet parents searching for their pet – making happy pet reunions just a few clicks away." With the help of a photo on the Petco Love Lost app, a South Dakota family now has their kitty home for the holidays.

This is another "priceless" Christmas miracle thanks to the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society:
