Oh Deer! South Dakota Police Respond to Wild Burglary Call

You never know what the day brings when you're a South Dakota police officer.

Officers with the Watertown Police Department responded to a burglary call. Sometimes these calls can be dangerous. But these officers got a wild surprise when they arrived at the scene of the crime.

It started as a normal Monday night for the Watertown Police Department. That all changed when officers got a call about a burglary in progress. Shortly after they arrived, they noticed the window on the property was broken.

The officers were able to find keys to investigate the home. They were ready for anything. However, as soon as they walked into the home, they knew something didn't feel right. So they open one of the doors, and to their disbelief...a deer was there!

This wasn't just a deer. It was a young buck that was clearly scared and confused. The Watertown Police Department shared this shocking moment with Bodycam footage on Facebook.

With a little bit of patience, the Watertown Police Department was able to safely guide the door back outside. This Bodycam footage is crazy! It's hard to believe!

Santa's reindeer tryouts and he forgot Santa is supposed to go down the chimney not him, and he is not a reindeer.
