Video Made Me Stop and Say Wow: Ice Skating on the Beach?!?

Our digital age has made videos of the amazing, bizarre, horrific, and uplifting in the world almost passe. We watch many of these displays with a detachment that defies explanation. Perhaps it is just the sheer number of them we see which inures us to their effects.

And then I see something like the video below.

I love everything about the ocean; the sound, the smell, the movement, the mystery. I have a desire to see snow on a beach someday and when I saw a young man ice skating on frozen ocean water on a beach in Maine, I was drawn in.

The serenity, the juxtaposition of ocean and ice, the fact that the young man had ice skates with him, absolutely wondrous!
