To The Trash! Major Minnesota & South Dakota Mac & Cheese Recall
This is not good news for Minnesota and South Dakota mac and cheese lovers...ugh.
Check your Minnesota and South Dakota pantries. Another recall is being issued across many Midwestern states, and this time it's for one of America's favorite comfort foods.
Two mac and cheese products sold in five states inside Walmart and Target are being recalled due to "potential spoilage."
A website called NJ.com recently wrote a story with the latest details on this unfortunate mac and cheese recall. The Reser’s Fine Foods company issued the recall for five affected states, including California, Illinois, North Dakota, Minnesota, and South Dakota. The mac and cheese products to look out for are American Classics Macaroni & Cheese White Cheddar (12 ounces) and American Classics Macaroni & Cheese (12 ounces).
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says the products "may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote." This has been classified as a Class II recall, which is a voluntary recall.

Mac and cheese was not the only food recalled. Reser’s Fine Foods recalled other products like pasta salad, corn, egg salad, scalloped potatoes, gravy, spinach dip, and desserts. You can read more details about this latest recall here.
