The Year Is 1988, It’s The Year Of ‘We Believe In Happy Endings’

The history of Country Music has many legendary duet hit-makers.

At the top of the list would be names like Porter and Dolly, George and Tammy, Conway and Loretta.  And on and on.

In 1988 two artist's got together for a great classic.  No, they didn't have a 'career' of duet hit's like so many others.  When you think of the great duet's of all time, their name's wouldn't quickly spring to mind.

Individually, they had fantastic career's.

He had more #1 hit's in the decade of the 1980's than anyone, an incredible 18.

She has had, and continues to have, one of the brightest and best musical career's of anyone over the past 5 decade's plus.

And it was in 1988 that Earl Thomas Conley and Emmylou Harris united for a huge #1 Country Music hit.

Personally, I think this is one of the most beautiful duet's in history.
