If you've ever attended a private college, you know how costly it can get. The same goes for private high schools as well. In fact, private secondary education institution tuition has skyrocketed in recent years.
Education A Lot recently compiled its list of the priciest high schools in each state. At the same time, you might not be surprised that New York, California, and Connecticut top the list, the spendiest school in Minnesota isn't too far behind.
According to Education A Lot, Shattuck-St. Mary's is the most expensive high school in the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes, coming in at a staggering $55,000 per year.

This school is an Episcopal boarding school that cost about as much for one year of tuition as an entire college education! They strive for excellence and have their students use the word “imagine” often in their vocabulary to encourage out-of-the-box thinking and innovation.
