Taylor Swift and Beyonce just can't escape each other. They both have very dedicated fan bases! And there was that whole VMA speech debacle that will forever tie them together.

And I would like to point out that I am not comparing them, I am simply stating the facts. Both women are making bank! Not stepping on anyone's gown.

Forbes released their list of the Highest Paid Women in Music and Taylor and Beyonce are at the top!

1.  Taylor Swift,  $185 million

2.  Beyoncé,  $81 million

3.  Rihanna,  $62 million

4.  Katy Perry,  $57.5 million

5.  Pink,  $57 million

6.  Ariana Grande,  $48 million

7.  Jennifer Lopez,  $43 million

8.  Lady Gaga,  $39.5 million

9.  Celine Dion,  $37.5 million

10.  Shakira,  $35 million

Just in case you're wondering how Forbes calculates these numbers, they explain their findings as follows, "Our list of the world’s highest-paid women in music measures pretax income from June 2018 to June 2019. Fees for agents, managers and lawyers are not deducted. The numbers are compiled with data from Nielsen Music and Pollstar, as well as interviews with handlers, industry experts and many of the stars themselves."

It should be noted that even though this is a list about women in music, a lot of these ladies are on this list due to their diversity! They have endorsement deals, beauty lines, and are in movies/TV on top of album releases and concert tours.

Ariana Grande was new to the list this year at #6, however the list is full of repeat offenders including Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry.

Sisters are doing it for themselves! Get it, girl!
