South Dakota police and local authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a reckless criminal on the run.

Police with the Pennington County Sheriff's Office are looking for 27-year-old Cheyenne Renee Cunningham. She has active warrants in Pennington County and can be dangerous. She's wanted for a handful of probation violations, including child abuse.

Local officials believe that Cheyenne Renee Cunningham can be anywhere in the Rapid City area or Pennington County. Officials with the Pennington County Sheriff's Office shared the latest information in a Facebook post.

Here's the latest information from the Pennington County Sheriff's Office about Cheyenne Cunningham's arrest warrant:

Felony Arrest Warrant issued for Cheyenne Renee Cunningham charging her with a Probation Violation for Child Abuse. She also has a Misdemeanor Bench Warrant for displaying another’s ID card.

In my opinion, anyone who hurts a child should automatically get life behind bars. No question about it in my mind.

Anyone who abuses a child should be given a very lengthy sentence (20+ years)

If true, and she really did, abuse child or children, Find her, and lock her up for many years, and hopefully she may learn her lesson and try to become a better person, inside and out.
