
Governor Rhoden ‘Honored’ To Welcome Pres. Trump to South Dakota
America's Big 250th Celebration is fast approaching, and all of South Dakota is getting ready to welcome travelers to Mount Rushmore for the big fireworks show, including Governor Larry Rhoden.
South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden confirmed he will be onsite during America 250 Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration. He also mentioned that it will be his "honor to welcome President Trump to the great state of South Dakota."


It was confirmed in a press release that President Donald Trump will be making a trip to South Dakota on Friday, July 3rd to witness the America 250 Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration. Governor Rhoden also confirmed the report in a Facebook post.
It is my honor to welcome President Trump to the great state of South Dakota – the freest state in a nation founded on the principles of freedom. Together, we will throw the biggest birthday party ever for our nation and celebrate America’s legacy of freedom, liberty, and justice for all!

Now that it's official President Trump will make a return to South Dakota, traveling and visiting South Dakota landmarks and historical sites could be tricky. For one, you need a ticket for America 250 Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration. Tickets were already distributed for through a public lottery in April. Furthermore, Mount Rushmore will be closed on Thursday, July 2nd to prepare for the major firework show.
