And, of course, the Storyteller.

Tom T. Hall has written classics, #1 hits and songs that have become standard's (Who can forget 'Harper Valley PTA'?).

He's one of the great yarn spinners in country music history, but it in October of 1973, he decided to keep it simple.  Real simple.

And real good.

'I Love' went to the top of the country music chart and also became Tom T.'s biggest pop music hit, entering the Top 15 there as well.
