So What is the Top U.S. Travel Destination For 2015?
Planning on doing some traveling here in the U.S. in 2015?
If you're like the majority of people who just finished taking a big travel survey from The Lonely Planet, the top spot you plan on visiting next year will be Queens, New York.
I know, as strange as it may sound, Queens, New York actually came out as the number one travel destination for U.S. tourists in 2015.
All I can come up with is there must be a lot of "The King of Queens" fans out there?
Supposedly the real reason Queens was picked is because, quote, "New York's largest borough is also quickly becoming its hippest, due to all the microbreweries springing up, along with new boutique hotels, a reinvented seaside at Rockaway, a world-class art scene, and a truly global food culture."
There is good news for all of us here in South Dakota however. It sounds like the rest of the nation is a little curious about all we have to offer here in the Rushmore state.
At least out west anyway.
The western half of South Dakota was chosen as the second biggest travel destination for 2015 among U.S. tourists.
There must be a ton of people out there dying to see the Faces along with natures mystery area, The Cosmos?
Rounding out the top 10 U.S. travel destinations for 2015 are; New Orleans, the Colorado River, North Conway, New Hampshire, Indianapolis, Greenville, South Carolina, Oakland, California, Duluth, Minnesota (better bring a coat this time of year) and finally, Mount Shasta, California.
