It's hard enough to make your way around town as it is on normal street situations. Don't make it harder than you have to by going thru construction areas.

You can't avoid the work locations, if you don't know where they are. Let's get you the latest from the City of Sioux Falls Street Department.

Beginning on Wednesday (7/26), four new construction projects will get underway. Here are the locations with the details:

Tenth Street and Minnesota Avenue: The southbound right turn lane of South Minnesota Avenue at Tenth Street will be closed to allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs. This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately three days.

26th Street:  Construction crews will be performing concrete repairs on West 26th Street west of Western Avenue. Traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times, however, lanes may be reduced in width and shifted around the work area. This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately three days.

Minnesota Avenue and Algonquin Street:  The outside northbound turn lane of North Minnesota Avenue at Algonquin Street will be closed to allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs. This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Rice Street: The eastbound outside through lane of East Rice Street west of Cliff Avenue will be closed to allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs. This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately two days.
