Sioux Falls Singer Maria Hassel Releases Her First Single

It's hard not to root for people when they are chasing their dreams in such an honest, and authentic way.

Between part-time jobs, internships, and a full college schedule Maria Hassel has been hustling to finish her first album.

A full time student in Brookings, Maria has been finding time to head to Minneapolis studio F5 Sound House.

She shares on her website when and why she started writing:

"I started writing when I was 12 years old because I didn't fit in, I kept writing because it became the only way I knew how to deal with growing up, losing people, and falling in and out of love. I hope that when people listen to my music they feel connected to my life."
