Traditional classes in South Dakota's largest city are on hold for at least another three weeks.

The Sioux Falls School District announced in an email to parents that classes will be closed through at least April 13.

Student and staff safety is our highest priority. This is new information: the District will be closed at least through Monday, April 13th. If the Governor extends that date, Sioux Falls will comply with an extended closure. Please plan for continued remote learning. Stay home and stay safe.

Remote learning begins Tuesday, March 24 for the entire district.
