Ahh spring, when the snow melts, the grass grows and potholes infect our streets. Considering the temperature and weather extremes that our roads have to deal with it's not a surprise that some problems erupt. But, that doesn't make them any less annoying.

The City of Sioux Falls is therefore calling on you, the drivers of our city's roads, to lend a hand.

“We currently have four teams working across the city to repair potholes, but we may not know about the pothole on your daily commute,” Mark Cotter, Director of Public Works said in a press release. “Drivers really are our eyes and ears, and we want you to reach out to us and let us know if there is a pothole in need of patching.”

The City of Sioux Falls is asking citizens to report potholes that need attention. To report a pothole call the Pothole Hotline at 367-8002 or go to siouxfalls.org/pothole. The Public Works Street Division is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is ready to assist.
