A Sioux Falls woman faces serious charges after she attempted to get several prescriptions filled from a local pharmacy.

"This is a woman that had called in pretending to be a nurse. She got a prescription for herself on Monday," according to Police Spokesman Sam Clemens.

"The woman did it again on Tuesday. The pharmacist recognized that it was virtually the identical prescription as the day before made out to the same person. When she came through the drive-thru, the staff called police. Officers were able to find her. They found out she was the one that called in for the prescription for herself."

Clemens says 24-year-old Elizabeth Klotzke is charged with trying to get a false prescription.
