Sioux Falls Driver Hits Electrical Pole, Causes $10,000 in Damage

Sioux Falls Police Department Public Information Officer Sam Clemens says a driver hit an electrical pole on Monday evening resulting in thousands of dollars in damage.

"We had a guy that was making a turn on 41st Street in a private drive in Sioux Falls. He was distracted by another car and ended up hitting a power pole."

Clemens says the 62-year-old man was cited for careless driving.

Damage to the pole and power lines is estimated at $10,000.
