Sioux Falls Mayor Takes Massive Flight on a F-16 Fighting Falcon!

At this point in his career as the Sioux Falls Mayor, I really don't think there's anything Mayor Paul TenHaken can't do!

Mayor Paul recently experienced the most thrilling flight of his life. He had the opportunity to ride a F-16 Fighting Falcon. Who knew that Mayor Paul was a natural pilot?!

Earlier last week, during an "exclusive civic-leader tour" at Joe Foss Field, the crew at the 114th Fighter Wing gave Mayor Paul the ultimate Air National Guard treatment. Together with the pilots, Mayor Paul suited up and saw firsthand how pilots stay alert to serve South Dakota and our country.

Needless to say, this was a powerful moment for our Sioux Falls Mayor.

From mission briefings, insider view of operations, and a ride in a F-16 Fighting Falcon, Mayor TenHaken experienced firsthand how the 114th Fighter Wing stays ready to serve South Dakota and the nation!

In a Facebook post, you can tell Mayor Paul TenHaken takes a lot of pride in having the 114th Fighter Wing in Sioux Falls. And the men and women behind these high-powered jets? Some of the strongest in the nation!

Sioux Falls is incredibly proud to be the home of the 114th Fighter Wing, employing men and women across the region and ensuring military readiness for our state and country when duty calls. Thank you for this honor. Fire away!
