Sioux Falls Looks a Little Weird in New 3D Google Earth
One of my favorite things to play with online is Google Maps, especially street view. It's so fun to drop in and see what different places in the world look like to the people that live there. I can wander my old neighborhoods, check in on Casa Bonita in Denver, or see what downtown Los Angels looks like up close.
Google Earth is like the super-powered version of Maps. They just updated it with a new 3D view, and it is really cool! Also, it's a bit weird. Especially when you zoom way in. For example check out these pics of Sioux Falls.
This parking ramp downtown looks to be sinking.
This seems to be a post-Godzilla pic of some cars on 6th street bridge.
Hey look! It's the Nintendo 64 version of the falls at Falls Park.
The observation tower in Falls Park is slipping in-and-out of our reality. Maybe if we climb to the top we'll end up in an alternative universe!
It must be real hot over by the Great Plains Zoo, because these care are melting.
This is the only known picture in existence of 26th Street and I-229 without any cars during the day; and it looks like it's made of matchsticks that are coming apart.
This is a really cool view I found of Frank Olsen pool. It's empty and you can clearly see the deep-end.
