After 23 years, Robert Joyce announced he will be stepping down this December as Executive Director of the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Society.

Although Joyce won't be in charge anymore, he will continue to work with the organization as a consultant and will assist the new incoming Director.

Joyce joined the organization in 1994 and became Executive Director in 2000.
"It’s been a dream job for me since the very beginning and with JazzFest having another good year the time felt right for me to make this move now."

Board President Kevin Rovang commented, "We are incredibly grateful for Rob's dedication and we celebrate his accomplishments over the past 23 years.

The group is now actively looking for a new Executive Director.
