The wait for October just got a little shorter for spooky season enthusiasts in the tri-state area. With just six months to go before All Hallows Eve, the spirit of Halloween is ready to take over Sioux Falls this Saturday for the 'Screams By Night Halfway to Halloween Con.'

This spooktacular event will be held at The Social on South Thompson Avenue on April 25. Fans of all things eerie, unsettling, and downright sinister can expect a full day of "chills and thrills" running from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. This is a rare opportunity for Sioux Empire residents to meet horror icons in person, as the convention features a celebrity lineup including Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens (Nightmare Sisters & Sorority Babies) and more.

Aside from the special guests, the convention floor will be packed with ghoulish vendors, creepy cosplayers, and reps from local favorites like Bad Hand Books and Atomic Robot Tattoo. Whether you are looking for a rare horror collectible or just want to show off your favorite costume a few months early, there is something for every level of fan at this show.

Tickets for the South Dakota event are available online here for $10 in advance. If you decide to go at the last minute, tickets will be $15 at the door. It is also a family-friendly atmosphere for the "little monsters" in your life, and children aged 10 and under get in absolutely free.

With free parking and a variety of local presenters like Screams from the Basement and Gypsywitch Paranormal, this is one event you won't want to miss out on.

For more details on this Saturday's event, check out all the info on the Screams By Night Website.
