The wait for October just got a little shorter for spooky season enthusiasts in the tri-state area. With just six months to go before All Hallows Eve, the spirit of Halloween is ready to take over Sioux Falls this Saturday for the 'Screams By Night Halfway to Halloween Con.'

This spooktacular event will be held at The Social on South Thompson Avenue on April 25. Fans of all things eerie, unsettling, and downright sinister can expect a full day of "chills and thrills" running from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. This is a rare opportunity for Sioux Empire residents to meet horror icons in person, as the convention features a celebrity lineup including Michelle Bauer and Brinke Stevens (Nightmare Sisters & Sorority Babies) and more.

Aside from the special guests, the convention floor will be packed with ghoulish vendors, creepy cosplayers, and reps from local favorites like Bad Hand Books and Atomic Robot Tattoo.
