It has been a stressful time for the Sioux Falls Cattitude Café, and officials are once again being honest about their struggles.

Giving South Dakota cats a second chance at finding their "fur-ever" home is a lot easier today thanks to the Sioux Falls Cattitude Café. However, the number of visitors to the local café has "slowed down" significantly, and it's getting hard to "make ends meet."

The first time the Sioux Falls Cattitude Café was on the verge of closing its doors was announced this past April. Thanks to the help of generous donors, the doors of the Cattitude Café remained open. But if people aren't going to see the cute kitties at the Cattitude Café, then the likelihood of closing remains high.

Every event that the Sioux Falls Cattitude Café has hosted seems to start strong, and later "fizzle out." Now they want to know what you want to see at the Cattitude Café.

We’re reaching out to YOU, our community, our supporters, our fellow cat lovers because we don’t want to keep guessing at what might bring people in. We want to know what you’d actually be excited about, show up for, and invite your friends to.
The cafe is here for the cats, but also for the people who love them. Without you, we can’t keep going. So tell us:
What kind of events would you love to see at The Cattitude Cafe?
What would make you want to buy a ticket, bring your friends, and come hang out with cats while supporting a good cause?

Remember: Every visit, coffee drink, or event helps cats at the Cattitude Café find their new home.

Gone But Not Forgotten - Iconic Sioux Falls: Whiffer's Sandwiches

The Merriam-Webster definition of iconic is "widely recognized and well-established." That would definitely describe Whiffer's Sandwiches which used to call North Minnesota Avenue home.

The gone but not forgotten sandwich shop was located in an old house at 1133 North Minnesota Avenue. It served sandwiches to Sioux Falls from November 1978 until the summer of 2020.
