General Mills Quarterly Profits Jump 51 Percent

For years Trix had the perfect formula for making kids and adults happy. And (in my opinion) one of the coolest slogans - "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids."

But two years ago General Mills did something apparently really silly - it got rid of the artificial colors and flavors to appeal to healthier eaters.

And the response was kids and adults hated it, calling it "depressing."

So, starting this fall, the old bright colors will be back on store shelves along side the duller more natural ones.

My guess is by the middle of next year all the duller, natural colors will be gone, never to be seen again.

Silly General Mills.
