UPDATE: Shots Fired, Standoff at Sioux Falls Motel
KSFY TV has provided an update on the shooting that occured at the Red Rock Inn in Sioux Falls. The initial call was for a weapons violation.
Once authorities arrived, they determined the suspect had shot at another man and his dog. The suspect fled into one of the hotel rooms, with another man and a woman inside that room.
KSFY is reporting that 22-year-old Alexander Cota and 22-year-old Autumn Neiman left the room and were arrested. The suspected shooter, 26-year-old Jericho Ladeaux, surrendered shortly thereafter and was arrested for aggravated assault.
Cota is facing multiple drug and weapon charges.
Police seized meth, a stolen rifle silencer, and a stolen vehicle.

With Sioux Falls Police and SWAT officers on the scene, one man is in custody Monday after a standoff at a local motel.
According to KSFY TV, authorities were called to the Red Rock Inn on W. 41st Street near the I-29 interchange after gunfire was reported on Sunday evening. Investigators say a man fired a gun at another man and his dog, then ran into one of the hotel rooms.
The rooms nearby at the motel were evacuated as officers made contact with the suspect. Three people came out of the room, but the suspected shooter refused to come out. A SWAT team was called in to assist during the six-hour standoff.
KSFY reports that the suspect eventually surrendered peacefully. He was arrested for assault, drug, and weapons charges.
