Shania Twain Admits She Has Peed Herself While Performing — More Than Once!
Shania Twain has peed her pants in front of fans, but hopefully they were none the wiser. The superstar revealed some of her most embarrassing moments during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
The country star joined actress Patricia Arquette for a game of “That Does Impress Me Much,” during which the host had to guess which woman belonged to the statement read about her personal life.
"This lady has peed her pants in front of an audience multiple times," an announcer said.
Cohen's guess? Twain. "I'm gonna say Shania because you're on stage constantly and maybe you wear an adult diaper," he says in the above clip.
The country star laughs and admits that she has, in fact, wet herself while in front of an audience. "I am on stage all the time," the singer says, explaining herself. "I have peed myself on stage."
"The show must go on! I was very clever in this one moment, she adds. "I stood up from my chair to get up and sing, I peed myself, and the puddle? I just knocked my glass of water over."
Remember These Unforgettable Wardrobe Malfunctions?
When Cohen pried further, Twain confessed that she was wearing a skirt, so thankfully no one noticed a change in her wardrobe.
"I was wearing a skirt, thank goodness," she continues. "I stood up, it all came out, I was dry and the glass of water [was] on the seat. I think when you’re dyslexic, you think ahead of these things."
That's not the only embarrassing situation Twain has found herself in. Once she got locked out of her hotel room — naked — while looking for a bathroom.
"I was in Rome with my husband and the room was [tiny]," Twain recalls. "I went to bed naked that night, and I have to go for a pee ... so I open up the wrong door, and I ended up in the hallway. I’m knocking on the door [like], ‘Let me in!’ [My husband was] like, ‘What are you doing out there?’ I said, ‘Well, I was sure the bathroom was here.'"
Here's hoping Twain has no embarrassing moments during her new series, Real Country, which airs Tuesdays at 10PM ET on USA Network.
