Services Set For Infant Found at Sioux Falls Recycle Center
Questions about an infant found in Sioux Falls are still unclear. But now the city has the opportunity to honor this baby's life.
A deceased infant found at a Sioux Falls recycle center earlier this month will finally have a proper goodbye in the community. This infant also has a new name with a beautiful meaning behind it.
Our friends at Dakota News Now are reporting visitation services for the infant will begin at 10 AM today (Tuesday, August 27th) at the Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel. On Wednesday, August 28th, the Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel will host the infant's funeral, which will be led by pastors Travis Remme, Katherine Olson, and St. Michael Catholic Parish at 10:30 AM.
So what's the new name of the infant? Gabriel James Doe. The founder and president of The Oaklyn Foundation Jessica Remme picked the name and she thinks it's perfect.
Gabriel meaning God is my strength, and James known as one who follows. It is beautiful
Funeral Director Matthew Koball tells Dakota News Now that it's been wonderful to see the community come together to pay their respects and to make sure arrangments were made.
Gabriel James will be buried at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Sioux Falls. There are currently no updates on baby Gabriel James Doe's case.

Sioux Falls truly comes together when neighbors need them. There's no doubt in my mind that people will be there to support baby Gabriel James Doe.
