Screen Printed Valentine’s Day Cards

Along with all the other fun things going on downtown for February's First Friday in Lights, there is a special event at The Sioux Falls Design Center.

This Friday, February 3rd, The Sioux Falls Design Center will be hosting Screen Printing Valentine's Day Cards with AIGA.

The event will start at 6:00 PM and will run until 8:00 PM at The Sioux Falls Design Center located at 108 W. 11th St. downtown.

The Sioux Falls Design Center aims to educate, engage, inspire, and support all aspects of design within the community by building connections in all areas including architects, interior design, artists, community leaders, and so on.

As of January 30th, the Design Center had posted this on their event page:

We are finalizing designs and getting card stock and ink ready for the screen printing workshop on Friday. Let us know your coming so we can make sure to have enough snacks and supplies!

FYI: this activity will not take the entire 2 hours so you will still have time to enjoy many of the other First Friday activities. 

So find the event on Facebook and RSVP so that you can get in on the action. Although, I'm sure they will have plenty of extra.

It is the perfect gift for that person who has everything. A homemade card always seems special because it comes from the heart. At least, that's what my mom always told me.
