Scariest Bridge in America: The Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland
A couple of weeks ago we did a story about the longest bridge in South Dakota. The Platte-Winner Bridge.
Well that bridge is nothing compared to the bridge that crosses over the the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. It's been labeled as the Scariest Bridge in America.
The four mile bridge rises over 200 feet above the water at some points. The railings along the sides of the bridge are very low making it feel as if there is nothing between the drivers and a drop to the water.
Many drivers experience anxiety and stress crossing over the bay that they even hire professional drivers to take them across the bridge. Could you do it?
