Rounder Records is giving vinyl fans a reason to get excited: The record label home of artists such as the SteelDrivers, Jack Ingram and many more -- has launched a record subscription service, Roundup Vinyl.

Roundup Vinyl will offer subscribers quarterly mailings, each containing three vinyl records. The packages will be shipped straight to subscribers' doors and include a letter that details how Rounder Records' founders, Ken Irwin, Marian Leighton Levy and Bill Nowlin, decided upon each quarter's selections.

The first Roundup Vinyl subscription box will feature Juno Concerto from 15-time Grammy Awards winner Bela Fleck’s, Pokey LaFarge’s Manic Revelations and Noam Pikelny's recently released Universal Favorite.

“The first time I heard Pokey, it was indeed a revelation -- though more in the life-changing sense rather than the manic. A great American storyteller, he brings those stories to life, both live and on record,” Levy tells Music Row of LaFarge. Irwin, meanwhile, adds that the label is "humbled" to release Juno Concerto as Fleck's 15th Rounder Records offering, and Nowlin says of Pikelny, "It might be true that only a banjo master could play the Telecaster the way he does."

Roundup Vinyl subscription plans are currently on sale: The cost is $180 for a yearly membership, $110 for a half-year membership and $60 for a quarterly membership. More information about the service is available on RoundupVinyl.com.
