Ross Department Store Recalling Two Sioux Falls Candles

Put the match out! There are a significant number of candles being recalled at a popular discount department store in Sioux Falls. If you have purchased these Taylor and Finch six-wick scented candles at Ross Dress for Less, you're entitled to a refund.

The two Taylor and Finch candles that are being recalled are "Cedarwood & Clove” and “Spiced Apple & Rosewood” scents. Apparently, they can be pretty dangerous when lit.

Over 5,000 of these scented candles from Taylor and Finch are being recalled by Ross Dress for Less. The Sioux Falls location for Ross Dress for Less issued a Facebook post about this "voluntary product recall."

According to its website, the "Cedarwood & Clove” and “Spiced Apple & Rosewood" Taylor and Finch six-wick scented candles "can combust while lit causing the glass container to break, posing fire and injury hazards." The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has only received a handful of complaints about these specific candles from Ross Dress for Less, including one "minor"  injury:

Any store patron that purchased these candles from Ross Dress for Less are entitled to a full refund when they are returned to the Ross storefronts. In Sioux Falls, Ross Dress for Less department store is located on the Lake Lorraine property at 2300 S. Lorraine Place.
