Rock and Roll Legend The Doobie Brothers Heading To Country Music

(AP) - The Doobie Brothers are working with some of Nashville's biggest names to do country versions of their hits.

Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band, Chris Young and Love And Theft have already signed on for an album remaking the Doobie Brothers' songs. Michael McDonald has rejoined the Doobies for this project.

A release date was not announced.
