RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Officials say an intersection in Rapid City is slated to reopen after unknown problems caused water main breaks in the city.

The Rapid City Journal reports the intersection at Dakota Drive and West Main Street is expected to open on Thursday.

Homes, businesses and county offices saw water service restored Wednesday after unknown problems caused two water main breaks Tuesday afternoon.

Repairs were completed Wednesday to a water line break off Third Street that disrupted water supplies in the area of the former National American University and Pennington County Courthouse.
