Popular Sioux Falls Ice Cream Shop Moving To Washington Pavilion
There are seasonal ice cream shops around the Sioux Empire that will satisfy your sweet tooth until Jack Frost comes to town. One of these local spots to grab ice cream in Sioux Falls is known as the Parlour Ice Cream House.
The Parlour Ice Cream House was previously located along Main Avenue in Downtown Sioux Falls. Now patrons of Parlour Ice Cream House will soon find their favorite treat inside the Washington Pavilion.
Our news partners at Dakota News Now are reporting the Washington Pavilion management team just bought the beloved Sioux Falls ice cream parlor. By late December, ice cream lovers will find the Parlour Ice Cream House at the entrance to the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the new Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium. It will also be under a new name: "Parlour House."
The President and CEO of Washington Pavilion Management, Inc. Darrin Smith tells Dakota News Now they couldn't be more excited about the new developments at the Washington Pavilion:
“The Washington Pavilion has so many exciting things happening right now, from a record number of Broadway series subscribers to new, state-of-the-art planetarium technology to extensive renovations underway in our café, and now we’ll provide even more food and beverage options by adding Parlour ice cream to our offerings. Parlour ice cream has become a fan favorite for so many in our community, and we can’t wait to see the thousands of families who come through our doors enjoying it right here at the Pavilion.”
More details on this developing story can be found here.
This news might come as a surprise for Parlour Ice Cream House fans. But it's also an exciting new beginning! Here's to the "Parlour House!"
