Sioux Falls O’Gorman Students Have Rare Meeting With Pope Leo
It's not every day you have the opportunity to meet the leader of the Catholic Church. I'm actually jealous of these Sioux Falls O'Gorman High School students!
Some Sioux Falls O'Gorman High School students had the unique opportunity to participate in the Lolek/Jacqueline Kane pilgrimage to Italy where they met Pope Leo XIV (AKA our American friend Father Bob)!

This was a 'once-in-a-lifetime moment' for O'Gorman High School students. The local Catholic school posted the amazing moment on Facebook.
What Is The Lolek/Jacqueline Kane Pilgrimage All About?
The Lolek/Jacqueline Kane pilgrimage is a travel group based in Nebraska that strives "to create opportunities to encounter Christ through pilgrimage by telling the story of God's saving work in the history of the Church and the lives of its saints."
Through the transformative journey of Christian pilgrimage, Lolek guides pilgrims to rediscover the richness of their Catholic heritage, empowering them to embrace the unique story God is writing in their lives and to 'Be not afraid' to live boldly as fearless witnesses of His truth and love in the world today.
Now, I'm sure when students and staff from O'Gorman High School began their pilgrimage to Italy they did not expect to see Pope Leo close-up let alone meet him!

What an absolutely privilege these young adults had the opportunity to experience. May you carry this in your heart for the rest of your lives.
What a blessing for our OG students to meet Pope Leo XIV, I'm amazed by this opportunity
This is an awesome memory for all of them to have.
