Police: Sioux Falls Man Accidentally Stabs Self, Faces Drug Charges
A Sioux Falls man was arrested on Thursday on drug charges after he accidentally stabbed himself in the leg.
"We had a 19-year-old who was inside an apartment," according to Police Spokesman Sam Clemens.
"He had several friends over. Apparently, he was tossing a knife into the air and then catching it. The last time he did that--he missed and the knife stuck him in the leg. The friends tried to get some help. Eventually police were called. The man was taken to the hospital to get stitches for his leg. When the officers were at the apartment, they found some marijuana and some cocaine residue inside. Once cleared from the hospital, the man was arrested on those drug charges."
Clemens identified the man as Alexander Cool.
