The first-ever Lallycooler Music Festival finally took place in Sioux Falls! We have been excited for this weekend since the local festival was announced last year.  And thanks to the hard-working efforts of both the Washington Pavilion and Great Bear Ski Valley, this dream of bringing festivals back to the Sioux Empire became a reality.

Officials stated that the Lallycooler Music Festival "will be the coolest thing you'll do all summer." They weren't kidding. The Sioux Empire witnessed two epic nights of live music from all genres. Here's a look at the first Lallycooler Music Festival line-up:

Night One of Lallycooler Music Festival

  • Confederate Railroad
  • Tyler Braden
  • Redferrin
  • Headliner: Sam Hunt

Night Two of Lallycooler Music Festival

  • Kory and The Fireflies
  • Frank Ray
  • Uncle Kracker
  • TLC
  • Headliner: Pitbull

The second night of the Lallycooler Music Festival was dedicated to all genres like Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, Country, and Pop. We were able to snap pictures and take videos of all the action on Saturday night. Let me just say it was F.U.N...fun!

If you missed your opportunity this year to be at the local festival, this gives you an idea of what to expect for next year's big weekend.

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

The sun was shining, the weather was cool...a perfect combination for outdoor concerts! So awesome to see local favorites Kory and The Fireflies start Day 2 of Lallycooler.

Country singer Frank Ray was next on stage. Like everyone on the second day of Lallycooler, he was excited to be there for the first annual event.

Frank Ray embraces his Latin heritage and covered some of his favorite songs during his set, like "Bailamos" from Enrique Iglesias.

Frank Ray closed out his set with his 2023 hit song "Country’d Look Good On You." South Dakota was loving every minute of this!

The next artist who took over the stage was country rocker Uncle Kracker. He opened up the show with "Nobody's Sad On A Saturday Night," perfect!

One of Uncle Kracker's biggest hits is "Follow Me" from 2000. You already know the Lallycooler crowd was singing along!

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

Famously, Kenny Chesney did this song as a duet with Uncle Kracker in 2004. It still gets the crowd singing.

Did you know that "Drift Away" was a cover song from Uncle Kracker? It's true! The song was originally performed by Mike Berry in 1972. Uncle Kracker brought this song back to life in the early 2000s.

Uncle Kracker got the Lallycooler crowd really excited when he adjusted the lyrics to "Sweet Home Alabama." Nice way to end his set.

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

They're here...TLC came to Sioux Falls for the first Lallycooler Music Festival. Never did I think I would see TLC in concert, and it was full of energy!

"Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg" from 1992 is the debut single of TLC. In honor of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas have performed with Left Eye's vocals in each song. This song got the crowd hyped!

This song means a lot to the group, especially Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. She wrote the song, and she's still proud of it today.

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

As luck would have it, my phone gave out during TLC's biggest hits: "No Scrubs" and "Waterfalls." Thanks to my co-workers for getting the video of "No Scrubs!" We had the entire area of the Lallycooler Music Festival covered!

The moment was almost here. Pitbull making his debut in the 605. Lallycooler crowds couldn't wait, and thankfully, my phone was charged enough before he hit the stage!

DISCLAIMER: Some dancing from Pitbull's show might be too risque for younger viewers.

He's actually here. Pitbull made it to the first-ever Lallycooler Music Festival! Boy, did he start the party!

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

Pitbull was so grateful to be one of the first headliners of the Lallycooler Music Festival. He kept on saying thank you throughout the night. But really, Pitbull...thank you!

It was all about dancing at Lallycooler on Saturday night. Pitbull was all about getting the crowd jumping. This counts as a workout, right Mayor Paul?

This song is always on my workout playlist, so I was very excited to dance to this one!

Pitbull told the Lallycooler fans that he's a fan of 80s music. So his band played "Sweet Child of Mine" as the intro to his song "Let It Rain Over Me" featuring Marc Anthony. It's pretty good!

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

Holy throwback...this 2004 hit featuring Pitbull brought me back to like my junior high days. Wow!

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

Pitbull kept on playing hit after hit. "On The Floor" with Jennifer Lopez was another favorite of the night.

"Feel This Moment" is another favorite on my workout playlist. The Sioux Empire was feeling this moment!

Day 2 of the Lallycooler Music Festival in Sioux Falls

I don't think there was anyone who wasn't singing or dancing to "Fireball." Sioux Falls went crazy!

"Give Me Everything" was perfect as a send-off! Just the cherry on top of an awesome weekend.
