‘Parent and Me’ Pickleball Challenge Coming to Sioux Falls
It's always great to try something new, and Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation is offering a fun way for area parents with kids to get out and compete in May.
Pickleball is essentially life-sized ping pong and makes for a great workout for all ages. It can be fast-paced and gives participants their fair share of competition and fun.
April is national Pickleball month, but residents of Sioux Falls and area towns will have an opportunity to enter the 'Parent and Me' Pickleball Challenge that is set to take place in May.

Looking for something fun and competitive and a way to bond with your little one? Join us for our Parent and Me Pickleball Challenge! This challenge is sure to bring the fun while you both enjoy one of the fastest-growing sports! Pickleball is a fun paddle sport, designed for all ages and skill levels. With simple rules and elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, the game is easy for beginners but quick and competitive for more experienced players. Join us for a Saturday of Pickleball and put your skills to the test in this bracket format challenge. Register by 5 p.m. on April 18 to be guaranteed a one-of-a kind T-shirt! Registration required.
The cost is just $15 and the tournament will take place at Terry Redlin Gym in Sioux Falls.
