Over or Under Toilet Paper Roll Battle Settled by 128 Year Old Manual
I have to be honest I really don't care as long as people replace the empty roll!
Over or Under? Well we could go round and round with this argument for over 100 years and it appears we have. But we have something to finally settle the argument!
From an article in Local Story 24:
CHOICE magazine discovered a 128 year-old patent dating back to 15 September 1891. It helpfully included a detailed graph which was explicit in showing the paper being left up and over the roll, rather than hanging under.

Of course! it make sense to me but that's because I've always argued on the over side. It will be one of those arguments that will resurface the next 100 years without either side willing to concede. At least those of us who hang over have some scientific manual we can bring to the table to argue with.
I have to be honest I really don't care as long as people replace the empty roll! Yes this line is in this story twice, and yes it is a hint for people who leave the baron tube of nothingness.
