One of South Dakota’s BEST Farmers Markets is About to Open

One of the very best small-town Farmers Markets in South Dakota is set to open this week, and, it's just a short drive from Sioux Falls.

The Downtown Hartford Farmers Market is returning for its 2024 season this Thursday. With over 40 different vendors coming from 17 communities, this is one Farmers Market you won't want to miss.

Located a mere 20 minutes from Downtown Sioux Falls, the Downtown Hartford Farmers Market has several unique and jollification for the entire family.

Here are some of the amazing things at this year's Farmers Market:

• Three delicious food trucks, including Creekside Meats, Tacos DeGringo, and Brosia Bowl.
• Homemade jams, farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, caramel corn, meats, freeze-dried candies, home decor, birdhouses and so much more!
• Free and fun kids' activities and live music!
• Rainy Day Coffee will also be on hand, serving their famous lattes and keeping the public caffeinated.

The 605 Art Bus will also be at the Downtown Farmers Market this Thursday, along with a scavenger hunt for prizes, shrink art crafts with the Siouxland Libraries, and DIY pollinator balls.

The Downtown Hartford Market is located on Main Avenue in Downtown Hartford and will be held the last Thursday of the month, every month from now through the end of September. Hours are from 5-8:30 pm.
