President Obama Stops By ‘Between Two Ferns,’ Shares Major Shade With Zach Galifianakis
Funny or Die's popular comedic interview series, 'Between Two Ferns,' has featured the likes of Justin Bieber, Steve Carell, Jennifer Lawrence and Tina Fey, but this time around, it did us one better (much better). President Barack Obama, solidifying his position as the most hip, pop culture-savvy President of all time, stopped by 'Between Two Ferns' for a riveting back-and-forth between 'Hangover' star Zach Galifianakis ... and the interaction was anything but amicable.
"I have to say, when I heard that people still watch the show, I was actually pretty surprised," kicked off Obama. And that, folks, was just the tip of the iceberg, as the President and famed comedian exchanged jab after jab, including this gem of an insult: "If I ran a third time, it'd sorta be like doing a third 'Hangover' movie. Didn't really work out very well, did it?"
But Galifianakis didn't hold back. (I mean, why would he? He's just talking to the President of the United States. No biggie.) From "What's it like to be the last black President?" to "Is it gonna be hard in two years when you're no longer President and people will stop letting you win at basketball games?," this was without a doubt his most memorable turn on 'Between Two Ferns' to date. We don't know how he'll be able to top this one.
If you've got a few minutes, watch the entire six-and-a-half-minute exchange between Obama and Galifianakis on 'Between Two Ferns' above. It'll seriously be the best part of waking up in the morning.
