Amazon and the NFL have agreed to a new deal that will also include the rights to exclusively broadcast one game per year on its streaming service.

The league and Amazon have been partners over the last few seasons with Amazon holding streaming rights to 11 games as part of the Thursday Night Football package. Games have been broadcasted on the Amazon Prime Video service along with video game platform Twitch. That deal will continue for another three-years.

There is one change, however. The NFL has agreed to give Amazon the right to broadcast one game exclusively on its network. Amazon will get a late-season Saturday night football game. Traditionally, the Saturday night games are played around Week 15 and 16.

There will be a lot of discussion and news coming out regarding NFL television contracts over the next few years. The current TV deals with CBS/FOX/NBC run through 2022 with negotiations set to begin soon according to CNBC.
